The visual appearance of the Ball guests is essential for the festive atmosphere of the Ball. Therefore, the Ball Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to inappropriately dressed guests.

The booking of your tickets or table/seat will expire as of 1 January 2011 unless they are paid for prior to that date. Starting on 9 December 2010 reserved tickets and seat/table reservations can be picked up at the Ball Office, or on the day of the event at the box office.

VIP Service includes access and departure with your car as well as parking on Josefsplatz, ticket for the Ball, VIP cloakroom, seat reservation in the Kleiner Redoutensaal for the entire event, champagne reception, gourmet menue, pertaining drinks, as well as the opening ceremony and the special midnight event shown on a video wall.

In twenty-three halls of the Vienna Hofburg Palace nine bands offering different styles of dance music will ensure a fantastic event. Moreover, VIP service, the Hofburg Lounge with hot samba rhythms, the Gartensaalbar, a coffee house and a wine cellar round off the amenities for our guests.

As a matter of tradition, the opening ceremony is performed by the cadets of the Theresan Military Academy together with sutdents of Elmayer-Vestenbrugg, the most prestigious dance school of Vienna, accompanied by the Garde Big Band, which is made up of musicians of the Guards Battalion.
