Once again a splendid ball night, hosted in the magnificient ambience of the Vienna Hofburg, comes to a close. As is tradition, the officers of the Austrian Armed Forces were pleased to invite their guests for the 77th Officers’ Ball which took place at from January 16th to 17th 2026. With “Roses of the South” as the motto for this years’ ball we were pleased to welcome Italy as the host nation. Together we celebrated and danced with a variety of guests from near and far.
As a special highlight of the evening, the Banda dell`Esercito Italiano and the Guards Band Vienna performed a musical show during the opening ceremony. Furthermore, the midnight show “La Dolce Vita – Vienna and Italy” as well as late night show, by de band Dolce Vita, delighted the ball audience.
We, the ball committee, would like to take this opportunity to thank all guests for their attendance – you make the Officers’ Ball the magnificient event which it always is! We are delighted to welcome you again on January 15th 2027 for the 100 years anniversary of the Officers’ Ball!
